Description

The Agile IT administrator is based in the citizenM Support Office at Voorschoten. This dual-role position combines leading the Office IT team with facilitating Agile methodologies within the team. The primary focus is to maintain and improve the Office IT systems while ensuring

high-quality project delivery and better customer experiences through Agile processes. This role is essential for maintaining secure and efficient IT operations and leading the Office IT team in delivering innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration

  • Act as the final escalation point for all office IT-related incidents.
  • Procure office IT hardware for the support office(s) and hotels.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continued support.
  • Maintain and improve Google Workspace and the identity management platform Okta.
  • Identify and create awareness around new security options in current systems and discuss them with the ISO.
  • Onboard new applications in Okta and ensure these applications support the correct login protocols.
  • Maintain and improve device management for mobile and laptops to ensure they are up-to-date and well-secured.
  • Implement new Google or Okta features when available/applicable.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest innovations in collaboration, office IT hardware, and device management.
  • Provide training on office IT systems, mainly focusing on Okta, Google Workspace and cybersecurity.
  • Coordinate and report on incidents registered in the incident management system, ensuring they are handled according to the SLA.
  • Ensure an up-to-date inventory of all assets, providing information about their location and status.
  • Identify lifecycle and hardware maintenance needs across the fleet.

Agile

  • Design and operate Agile processes adapted to the citizenM Office IT team.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies like stand-up meetings, estimation, planning, showcases, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams, align multidisciplinary projects under a single high-level overview, and align with the Agile Transformation team.
  • Ensure the team has everything they need to be highly productive by encouraging public commitments and accountability, resolving dependencies, and removing impediments.
  • Ensure visibility to the team on key milestones and priorities, delivering transparency on plans to the department and stakeholders through effective reporting and timely escalations.
  • Create and drive process improvements for the team and department to operate effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications / Skills

Systems Administration

  • Administrative expertise in Google Workspace & Okta, preferably with certification.
  • Training in Information Security (minimum Foundation level).
  • Expertise in device management.
  • Strategic planning skills.
  • Organized and accurate.
  • Ability to translate information security requirements into technical solutions.
  • Team player and reliable.
  • Fluent in English.

Agile

  • Certified Scrum Master or a consulting background in Agile methods with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira for setting up and optimizing projects.
  • Excellent people and time management skills.
  • Solid technical background with a good understanding of continuous delivery, support best practices, and process improvement.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering in a continuous delivery Agile environment.
  • Effective organizational skills to reduce noise, distractions, and interruptions.
  • Ability to mentor and demonstrate Agile values and principles.
  • Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Target and collaboration-driven team leader.
  • Approachable, inspiring and collaborative team leader.

Location

  • Based in the Voorschoten Support Office. Hybrid working is possible, on average twice a week in the office. Not fully remote.
