Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join us for a project to build a custom website for a car rental company. This website needs to be tailored to the client’s specific needs, providing a seamless user experience with advanced booking functionalities and a modern design.

You will work closely with a designer to ensure the website is visually appealing, fully responsive, and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate has experience in custom web development, can handle both frontend and backend tasks, and is comfortable working with APIs, payment integrations, and other essential features for a car rental platform.

If this project is successfully completed, there is an opportunity for ongoing collaboration with UP Marketing on future web development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a custom website for a car rental business from scratch

• Collaborate with a designer to implement high-quality UI/UX

• Ensure mobile-friendly and fully responsive design

• Integrate booking systems, payment gateways, and API connections

• Optimize performance, speed, and security

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the project

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Web Developer, Senior Front-End Developer, or similar role, with a focus on website development, online booking systems, and user interface design within the car rental or related industry.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant programming languages.

• Experience with custom website development (not just CMS-based solutions).

• Familiarity with backend development and API integrations (e.g., payment gateways, booking systems, and third-party services).

• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).

• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with designers and other team members.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience developing platforms for rental services is a plus.
