Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing both business and IT-related projects within our asset management business line. This role will involve overseeing key transformation initiatives, including governance, organizational changes, and the analysis of new activities or business areas. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, driving projects that contribute to the firm's strategic goals. Reporting to the COO, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of change management projects that enhance the firm’s overall operational efficiency and capabilities.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead business and IT projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including clear milestones, deliverables, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage change projects involving governance, process optimization, and organizational transformation.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, IT specialists, and external partners.
  • Ensure clear and regular communication with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Track and report project progress, addressing any challenges or delays promptly.

Business and IT Integration

  • Lead the analysis of new business opportunities and assess the impact of new activities or services on the firm’s operations.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure the technical requirements of business projects are clearly defined and executed.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor technological solutions to support business transformation initiatives.

Process Optimization & Change Management

  • Drive governance and organizational changes within the firm, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Work on the continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
  • Provide leadership in the adoption of new tools, systems, and workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.

Risk Management & Problem Solving

  • Anticipate potential risks and challenges associated with project execution, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to resolve issues and ensure the smooth delivery of projects.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • 3–7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on business transformation, governance, or IT projects. Experience in the financial services or asset management industry is a plus;
  • Strong understanding of both business operations and IT systems, particularly in the context of asset management;
  • Experience in managing projects that involve organizational change, governance, and process optimization;
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and office software (Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges;
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
