Scope

Technical Leadership: Lead support of complex network and server operating system environments. Design, disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and complex server and network configurations.

Network Security and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain secure networks. Perform administration and monitoring of network and voice services. Manage upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance for network-related projects.

Advanced Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA and FirePower firewalls (including ACLs, S2S VPNs, BGP, IPSec, routing, optimizing/tuning, and troubleshooting in multi-context mode).

Infrastructure Support: Support network infrastructure, including email, storage management, file and print services, routers, wireless access points, switches, firewalls, network-related software, network management systems, and backup and disaster recovery services.

Required Skills

Strong Senior Network Engineer (Security, Cisco ASA, Firewall) with 7+ years of hands-on experience in a security engineer role with direct responsibility for Cisco Firewalls and Security vulnerability management suite

Proficiency in configuring, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA and FirePower firewalls

Broad hands-on knowledge of firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems

Strong understanding of TCP / IP protocols, routing, and subnetting
