Azure DevOps

Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate and manage the release process, ensuring smooth deployment to multiple environments (development, staging, production).

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep to provision and manage Azure resources.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.

Version Control and Collaboration:

• Work with Git for version control and GitHub or Azure Repos for collaboration on code.
• Ensure code quality by setting up static code analysis, code coverage, and security scanning as part of the pipeline.

Monitoring and Alerts:

• Set up monitoring and alerting for Azure applications, infrastructure, and resources.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure uptime and reliability of applications.

Automation and Scripting:

• Write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate cloud and on-premise tasks.
• Work with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef when necessary.

Cloud Management:

• Provide guidance for cloud infrastructure optimization, scalability, and security within the Azure environment.
• Manage and monitor Azure resources like Virtual Machines (VMs), App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Databases, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Azure CLI, and related services.
• Proven background in CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), App Services, Virtual Machines, etc.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is generally preferred, but practical experience can often substitute.
