The aim of this position is to shape the future of automated lending by crafting and optimizing credit risk rules that empower data-driven decisions, streamline processes, and strike the perfect balance between driving business growth and maintaining robust risk management.

What You Will Do

  • Shape and refine credit granting processes and workflows by applying your deep credit risk knowledge and industry insights, making a meaningful impact within Risk Management as part of the first line of defense
  • Provide requirements for private person lending automation projects and support translation of business needs into technical system requirements
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, documentation, and continuous enhancement of credit risk assessment tools, ensuring high-quality performance
  • Oversee of credit portfolio`s and credit risk tools performance in context of business and risk targets
  • Collaborates with other teams to understand the impact of credit rules in the customer acquisition funnel and to identify opportunities to enhance conversion
  • Initiate improvements in risk rule definitions, affordability and offer calculations, pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth of the business and process efficiency
  • Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase relevance

What We Expect

  • Higher degree in preferred fields: economics, finance, business management, statistics, or data science
  • 3+ years in credit risk management in retail banking, or consumer lending, with a focus on credit policy and rules development, risk modeling, or automated decision systems
  • Strong command of credit scoring models, risk engines, and decision-making tools; proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar would be considered as advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze credit portfolio performance and identify data-driven strategies to balance business growth with risk mitigation
  • Proven track record of working autonomously and with cross-functional teams to implement risk initiatives and influence business outcomes effectively
  • Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solver with a focus on driving profitable growth, process efficiency, and innovative solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Fluent local language and English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
