__Who we are looking for__

We are looking for a passionate and brilliant Machine Learning Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and potentially develop a thesis while gaining hands-on experience. You should expect to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment that will help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.

__Location__

This is a full-time position, based in Modena, Italy.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop Python software components (e.g., loss functions, ML models)
• Conduct experiments and analyze results on both toy datasets and proprietary financial datasets
• Compare Learning-to-Rank models, evaluating their performance and heterogeneity
• Collaborate with the data engineering and machine learning teams
• Contribute to the final report/thesis detailing the project outcomes
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
• Proficient in Python, including libraries such as Pandas and Numpy
• Strong passion for machine learning and financial applications
• Proficient in English (B2 or higher)
