ML/AI Engineer

PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. Our team works in hybrid model with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara

We are currently building mobile products focused on Business, Photo & Video, and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.

Our team consists of extremely talented makers and hackers who are dreaming of shaping the future of mobile through continuous experimentation and relentless learning. And now we are looking for an ML/AI Engineer to help us turn our vision into reality.

What we are looking for

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in applying AI to real world problems, at least 2 years
• Experience with Open Source Large Multi-model Models
• Experience with Stable Diffusion
• Experience with PyTorch or Tensorflow
• Experience with LLM, GenAI and CV
• Knowledge of AI lifecycle and MLOps
• Proficiency with Node.js and Python, designing and developing REST APIs 
• Good to have SQL knowledge
• Experience with cloud technologies and as-a-service cloud solutions
• Strong analytical and time management skill

Your responsibilities will be

• Taking part in machine learning model development and validation processes
• Deploy & Fine tune Deep Learning Models and optimize for scalability
• Developing backend services for our mobile apps from the ground up.
• Refine, and tune integrations between applications
• Bring new technology and ideas to the table
• Influence cross-team initiatives and mentor mind and junior backend engineers
• Participate in planning meetings, estimate tasks, do code reviews, and code in pairs
