Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a motivated L1 Security Analyst to join our client's team in Geneva. This role reports directly to the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).


Key Responsibilities:


Perform real-time monitoring of security events, detect and respond to security alerts.

Provide operational support to maintain a secure and flexible global computing environment.

Triage and escalate security incidents to Level 2 analysts based on severity and impact.

Participate in security incident investigations and contribute to resolution efforts.

Conduct initial analysis of security alerts to distinguish between false positives and genuine threats.

Maintain detailed records of incidents, including actions taken, timelines, and resolution status.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective implementation of security configurations and policies.

Generate regular security status reports for management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident management or security operations.

Solid understanding of modern security architecture and incident response best practices.

Relevant cybersecurity certification preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker).

Experience in the commodities trading sector is considered a plus.

Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and basic knowledge of networking and operating systems.
