About the Role
Conexus is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our esteemed client as part of their expanding global team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects focused on Cisco-based network security architecture.

This role involves implementing a Zero Trust Framework, owning the architectural stance for the Cisco estate globally, and driving technical excellence in a large-scale Cisco environment. The successful candidate will be pivotal in redefining security standards and overseeing significant migration projects, including transitioning production sites from Meraki firewalls to Firepower.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Zero Trust Security solutions.
• Take ownership of Cisco Firepower architecture globally.
• Manage and oversee vendor relationships.
• Lead the migration of Meraki firewalls to Cisco Firepower.
• Collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones.
• Participate in Cisco Live.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Cisco Firepower.
• Extensive experience with Cisco-based core routing, switching, TIP/IP, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Meraki systems, particularly in large production environments.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with vendor management and consulting or project experience in Cisco Firepower.
