This is an initial 1 year contract

Cloudera seeks a proactive, collaborative, curious, and customer-oriented Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Field Technical Operations organization. Our team is a part of the Solutions Engineering organization and helps solve a wide range of problems to enable our pre-sales experts to be more effective. These problems will help you develop deep technical expertise in an array of industry leading technologies.

As an Associate Solutions Engineer you will:

• Maintain, upgrade and support demo systems and environments (public cloud and on-premises) with high uptime
• Collaborate with various Cloudera teams including solutions engineering, field specialists, engineering, product, and support to resolve technical issues, develop new demo content, and implement best practices in demo environments
• Support Solutions Engineers when issues arise with demo systems
• Work across the organization to develop and maintain new and existing demo content
• Assist with answering technical questions on RFPs/RFIs
  
  
  

We're excited about you if you have (qualifications):

• Understanding of basic Linux, DataBase, or programming concepts preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes and one (or more) of the major cloud vendors
• Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bonus: Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform and DevOps principles
