IT PROJECT MANAGER – APPLICATION MODERNIZATION

🔹 YOUR MISSION: LEAD APPLICATION MODERNIZATION

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to coordinate and oversee multiple application modernization initiatives.

🚀 What’s the Challenge?

By 2025, there is a major initiative to:

✅ Refactor and modernize an extensive application portfolio.

✅ Eliminate technical debt through upgrades and optimizations.

✅ Decompose monolithic applications into scalable, cloud-based solutions using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices.

Your role? Lead and coordinate this critical transformation!

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Lead & coordinate IT projects from inception to completion.

✅ Facilitate architecture decomposition between business, IT, and architecture teams.

✅ Oversee functional & technical refactoring of in-house applications.

✅ Manage multiple software development teams (.NET, JAVA developers & architects).

✅ Ensure seamless integration of modernization initiatives across international teams.

✅ Validate test strategies and oversee quality assurance.

✅ Plan, coordinate & deploy IT solutions in production environments.

🎯 MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

✔ 10+ years of IT project management experience.

✔ Expertise in modern, cloud-based, data-centric architectures (DDD, microservices).

✔ Experience in international corporate environments.

✔ Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

✔ Ability to collaborate effectively with developers & architects on technical matters.

✔ Analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication.

✨ NICE-TO-HAVE

🔹 Knowledge of the electricity and energy sector.

🔹 Experience integrating market products into existing application architecture.

🔹 LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

🌍 Fluent in English + French or Dutch (with a working knowledge of the other).

🌍 German is a plus.
