Our Engineering Team Is Building EDUKATE.AI, a Cutting-edge Learning Platform Used By Organisations And Universities To Empower Learners. This Platform Is Integral To Our Success And Comprises Three Core Components

Our Engineering Team Is Building EDUKATE.AI, a Cutting-edge Learning Platform Used By Organisations And Universities To Empower Learners. This Platform Is Integral To Our Success And Comprises Three Core Components
- Interactive Content Development: A hosted development environment enabling industry and academic experts to create interactive, state-of-the-art content.
- Learning Platform: Designed for learners to quickly acquire new skills through problem-solving in a simulated professional environment, complemented by instant, personalised feedback.
- Delivery Dashboard: Built for tutors, coaches, and admins to effectively support large cohorts of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small, fast-paced team to enhance an innovative Data & AI education platform.
- Develop and maintain frontend features and user interfaces using Vue.js, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Work closely with designers and stakeholders to create responsive and accessible interfaces for learners, content creators, and administrators.
- Optimise the platform for performance, usability, and accessibility across different devices and browsers.
- Implement efficient and scalable front-end testing processes, ensuring the platform’s reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve UI/UX bugs, promptly responding to support tickets to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to project planning and requirements gathering for cross-functional business needs.
Essential
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a JavaScript framework (Vue.js, React, or equivalent).
- Experience building and optimising user interfaces for performance and accessibility.
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and creating mobile-first designs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development workflows.
Frontend And UX/UI
We don’t expect candidates to have all the skills below, but experience in any of these areas would be a great plus:
- Experience with Cypress or similar integration testing frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of UX/UI design principles and tools.
- Experience working on responsive and accessible UIs with a focus on web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Familiarity with API integration and backend interaction.
- Experience with Docker or containerised environments.
- Basic understanding of PostgreSQL or similar databases for troubleshooting data-driven UI features.
- Familiarity with education technology tools or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Passion for education, pedagogy, or learning technologies.

Interview Process
- One way video interview (alternative options are available for candidates who require reasonable adjustments to the process - for example live video screening via Google Meets)
- Hiring manager interview (bring your own code or we can provide a take home task to complete) - 1 hour
