TrinaTracker’s Project Manager: Contracts manages all aspects of our utility scale solar projects post sale, including risk to cost, schedule, and quality, being focus on contracting reviewing and it upgrades. Responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Manages and leads large teams of multi-discipline professionals from our EPC, Owner, and AHJ partners as well as the associated subcontractors. Coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the project as well.
Responsabilities:
- Focus on contracting reviewing attending to Trina expectative
- Be a focal point to all Projects Managers in terms of contracts definitions
- Work with other Trina’s departments on contracts standards improvements
- Advocate a culture of safety on all assigned projects
- Participate in proposal review and negotiation process when needed
- Provide risk management assessment along with project team to manage risks
- Ensure that engineering, procurement, construction and logistics elements of projects are executed in a manner consistent with the “as-sold” expectations of TrinaTracker’s customers.
- Support project team in developing contingency plans and executing those if needed
- Work with other Trina’s departments to ensure that schedule forecasts current and future are met
- Participate in negotiations of contract commercial terms
- Apply knowledge of AHJ policies and regulations to project scope
- Build relationships with key stakeholders
- Serve as the primary corporate representative to the customer, permitting agencies, and other project personnel during construction process
Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Certified PMP (desirable)
- Portuguese, English and Spanish skills
- Ability/willingness to travel
- Flexible schedule that allows for attention to client issues
- Project management experience in large scale construction
- Superior estimating, scheduling and reporting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English
- Ability to understand and interact with project financial controller, logistics, engineering and executive management for both Trina and client companies
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision and represent the quality and reputation of Trina in a professional and collaborative manner
- Specialized at managing and leading teams through project risk profiles
- Advanced knowledge of project finance
- Understanding and application of contract commercial terms
