CREDIT RISK MODELLER



What will you be doing?


  • Develop and implement credit risk models (e.g., Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD)).
  • Ensure models comply with IFRS 9 and other regulatory requirements.
  • Validate model assumptions, back-test models, and ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct stress testing to assess how economic downturns impact credit risk.
  • Continuously monitor loan portfolio performance to detect early signs of deterioration.
  • Track key risk indicators such as delinquency rates, default trends, and concentration risks.
  • Prepare regulatory and internal reports on credit risk.




What will help you succeed?


  • Master’s degree or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with PD, LGD, EAD models, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
  • Hands-on expertise with IFRS 9 framework.
  • Expertise in monitoring loan portfolio performance and identifying early warning signs.
  • In-depth understanding of credit risk regulations (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9) and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Advanced data analytics & programming skills.
