Job role description:

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the transaction reporting processes, focused on financial messaging within an important financial institution. The role involves managing updates to Swift messaging standards (ISO 20022) and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, in collaboration with DevOps teams, operational departments, and external stakeholders. The position requires working both remotely and 1-2 days per week in Utrecht.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic direction for financial messages such as account statements and payment orders.
• Manage updates related to Swift messaging standards (ISO 20022) and ensure smooth integration.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to develop practical IT solutions and improve operational processes.
• Communicate changes in services to both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and regulators.
• Serve as the primary contact for financial messaging-related inquiries within the organization.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product or project management within the financial sector.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English language.
• Deep understanding of ISO 20022, Swift messaging standards, and financial compliance.
• Knowledge of API technologies and open banking concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
