Job Title: Senior Golang Developer

Location: Zürich, Switzerland (80-100%)

Salary: CHF 140,000 per year

Role Overview:

Optimus Search has partnered with an innovative software engineering company based in Zürich. As a Senior Golang Developer at our company, you will work on deployed client solutions and on advanced web services. You will work with a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deploy high-quality Golang-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and build clean, scalable software solutions using Golang, applying industry best practices and design patterns to maintain high-quality code.
• Review code and offer constructive feedback to uphold consistency and overall codebase quality.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in their growth and skill development.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable deliverables.
• Collaborate with the team to define system architecture and make informed decisions on technology stacks, frameworks, and libraries.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and performance enhancements.
• Proactively tackle technical challenges and suggest innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Minimum 5 Years experience in Golang and Python
• Proven experience in developing web applications within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Experience deploying software on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficient in Git, Docker, development workflow automation, and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar, and distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Flink.
