Python Backend Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Engineer keen on backend services and development operations. In this role, you will be gathering requirements, finalizing them, designing complex systems, and then participating in the development, deployment, and subsequent support.

Duties and Responsibilities

Creating new services for internal use
Building new features from business ideas to solutions in production
Building and validating different types of POCs
Scaling and supporting existing products and services

Qualifications and Skills

3+ years of commercial software development experience
Significant experience with Python 3 (asyncio/aiohttp)
Experience with Docker
Experience working with AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS)
Experience with SQL
Experience with CI/CD and building pipelines
Experience working with Infrastructure as code
Experience with data structures, algorithms, design patterns
Experience with parallelization of complex operations, understanding of multiprocessing/threading / asynchronous approaches
An ability to work remotely and use conference and collaboration tools effectively
Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of machine learning
Experience with NoSQL database management systems
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Monitoring, ELK stack
Building large-scale systems
