Data Analyst – Data Science & AI

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Data Science & AI team in Warsaw as we build out an AI focused data enrichment capability from the ground up. Integral to our data management strategy, this role is pivotal to our mission of harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to transform our data management and analytical processes. As part of this position, you will work hand in hand with our software engineers to use AI technologies to enhance data quality, integrity, and usability as well as be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of data, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Data Quality Management: Monitor and improve data quality using AI tools, identifying, and rectifying anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors.
• Data Integration: Coordinate the integration of data from various sources, ensuring seamless and efficient data flow across systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with a global team of investment professionals, data scientists, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Data Enrichment: Utilize AI to enrich data sets, adding value through enhanced data attributes and insights.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, standards, and metrics.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role. Experience in a financial services or hedge fund environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (pandas), SQL, ChatGPT, Snowflake, AWS S3, Redshift
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
