The Opportunity

NORRIQ FS is seeking a Senior/Medior Data Scientist to drive our data analytics and machine learning initiatives while delivering innovative solutions to our financial services clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

Client-Facing Responsibilities:

• Design and implement machine learning solutions for complex business problems
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and create insightful visualizations
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for model deployment
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions
• Provide technical guidance on data science best practices
  
  

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ML models using scikit-learn and other Python libraries
• Implement version control for both code and data using GitLab and DVC
• Create and maintain Jupyter notebooks for analysis and documentation
• Ensure reproducibility of data science workflows
• Optimize existing models and data pipelines for improved performance
• Follow ML ops best practices for model deployment and monitoring
  
  

Internal Contributions

• Contribute to NORRIQ's data science expertise through knowledge sharing
• Participate in proposal writing and solution architecture
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Stay current with latest developments in data science and ML
  
  

Your Profile

Experience : 2-6 years in the following areas:

• Professional experience as a data scientist or ML engineer
• Proven track record of implementing ML solutions in production
• Experience with financial services industry preferred
• Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning
  
  

Technical Skills

• Expert in Python programming and data science libraries
• Proficiency with scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy
• Experience with version control (GitLab) and DVC
• Strong knowledge of Jupyter Lab and notebook-based development
• Understanding of ML ops and deployment practices
• Experience with SQL and data manipulation
• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Languages: Fluency in English, and Dutch or French, with at least passive knowledge of the other
