Mid-level Data Scientist (0,5 FTE, 6 months long B2B contract)

We are looking for candidates living in Poland.

For our client from Sweden, a leading supplier of intelligent home alarm products, we are looking for a part-time Data Scientist for a 6 months contract.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python (experience in scikit-learn, pandas or similar libraries)

• Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, with a particular emphasis on anomaly detection

• Proficient in statistical methods and model evaluation techniques

• Experience with data engineering tools (SQL) for data wrangling and manipulation

• Familiarity with cloud platforms for model development and deployment

• Visualization skills using libraries like Seaborn, Matplotlib or similar

Good to have:

• Experience with neural networks and frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras

• Familiarity with Snowflake and AWS for data storage and cloud computing

• Strong background in analyzing and modeling time-series data

• Familiarity with IoT data and its application in machine learning

• Understanding of MLOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Hadoop
