They are seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Data Scientist to join their team to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in AI, specifically using large language models (LLMs) to build scalable, impactful applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong algorithm development expertise, proven experience working with LLMs, and proficiency in building AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven applications, leveraging large language models (LLMs).
• Apply expertise in algorithm development and machine learning to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy scalable solutions.
• Work independently to develop prototypes, test ideas, and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage and query large-scale structured and unstructured data systems efficiently using databases.
• Optimize model performance and integrate AI solutions into production systems.
• Provide technical insights to team members, and potentially lead small teams of engineers and data scientists (if applicable in the future).
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, reinforcement learning, and LLMs, and explore creative applications of these technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in data science, software engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python is essential
• Demonstrated experience in developing applications using large language models (e.g., GPT, PaLM, or similar).
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex algorithms.
• Ability to approach challenges creatively, work independently, and solve problems with minimal guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with remote teams.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and deployment pipelines.
• Creativity, self-sufficiency, and hands-on technical ability are critical

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with general machine learning frameworks and techniques.
• Familiarity with computer vision models and applications.
• Experience applying reinforcement learning in practical scenarios
• Previous experience managing or mentoring technical teams.
• Understanding of database systems, including SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• NLP (natural language processing), electrical engineering, AWS
