Product Manager – Business Intelligence

Our client, a leading software company specializing in transfer agency solutions, seeks a Product Manager to join their Business Intelligence team. In this role you will drive innovation in our BI offerings, leveraging your technical expertise and market knowledge, to deliver a cutting-edge BI platform for advanced data insights and reporting. You will lead a BI Scrum Team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our solutions align with the company’s long-term vision while delivering exceptional value to clients. Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a compelling product vision for our BI offerings. Develop a strategic roadmap that leverages market-leading data frameworks and reporting tools.

Technical Expertise: Utilise your technical background to understand the intricacies of BI systems. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and data analytics best practices.

Market Research and Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer pain points and opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and enhance client experience.

BI Solution Development: Work closely with our Scrum Team to translate user needs into actionable product features. Drive the development of flexible data models, intuitive dashboards, and advanced reporting capabilities.

User-Centric Design: Advocate for a seamless user experience, ensuring that our BI tools are user-friendly and efficient. Collaborate with UX designers to create visually appealing interfaces.

Agile Methodology: Embrace Scrum principles, participate in sprint planning, and prioritize backlog items. Facilitate sprint reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve our BI solutions.

Performance Metrics and Iteration: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for our BI products. Regularly evaluate product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate accordingly.

Requirements:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years in BI or data analytics product management.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in leading BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of data frameworks, analytics trends, and best practices.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and teams effectively.
