Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)

Location: Brussels (Must reside in Brussels or within a 2-hour driving radius)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced technology solutions. This role involves close collaboration with project teams to enhance system functionality and ensure seamless deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and integrate software components aligned with business needs.
Analyze user requirements and implement tailored solutions.
Create prototypes to validate design concepts.
Develop and execute test scripts to ensure system reliability.
Ensure smooth integration with existing applications.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation.
Provide support during system deployment and configuration.
Engage in team discussions and project meetings.

Required Expertise

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in the following technologies and methodologies:

Frontend Development:

Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Angular.
Hands-on experience with additional JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, NGRX, React, Vue, or Node.js.
Solid understanding of UX design best practices, including mobile-first and responsive design.

Backend Development:

Strong knowledge of Java and experience using Spring (Spring Core, Spring MVC).
Experience with Hibernate / JPA for data persistence.

DevOps & CI/CD:

Expertise in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Familiarity with Relational Databases (Oracle or MySQL).

Agile & System Architecture:

Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of service interoperability technologies, including SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, message-oriented middleware, and service buses.
Experience with UML diagrams (use case and activity diagrams).

Toolset & Additional Skills:

Proficiency in Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (Apache ServiceMix, Oracle Service Bus) is a plus.
Familiarity with Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1, WAI-ARIA) is a bonus.
