Job Description

We have a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to join our Cambridge team. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of our in-house software. We provide a simulation of a 5G mobile network so we can verify the embedded software in our smartphones, IoT and automotive chips, all the way from early integration test to operator acceptance. Our simulations are used daily by engineers around the globe through a feature-rich Windows graphical development environment and a fully automated back end running on Linux server farms.

This varied position will give you experience of.

  • Advanced Linux and Windows tools written in C++, C# and Python.
  • Using AI/ML to learn and automate complex tool chains.
  • 4G, 5G and 6G protocol software.
  • Collaborating with engineers around the world, including UK, Finland, Taiwan, China, and India.
  • Opportunities to innovate and influence tools, processes, and technologies of a global company.

You’ll be…

  • A recent graduate with a 2.1 or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Passionate about software development and have significant programming experience.
  • A great problem solver and creative thinker.
  • Someone who enjoys picking up new skills quickly, through informal learning within the team.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both in a team and autonomously.

This role will be based at our Cambourne office, based 9 miles from Cambridge city centre (with frequent direct bus services).
