Our Client

Our client is a subsidiary of a larger organization experiencing a period of rapid transformation and growth. With a strong focus on operational excellence and financial rigor, they are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Operations to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead critical operational functions and drive process improvements.

As Head of Finance Operations, you will report to company MD and play a pivotal role in overseeing the organization’s financial processes. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure the efficient execution of finance operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives.


Who should apply?

  • Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 year post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in leading finance operations teams, ideally within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and manage change effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Availability to start immediately or on short notice.


Role and Reporting lines

As outlined earlier, you will report directly to the MD and have the following responsibilities;

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
  • Lead and manage the finance operations team, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate financial reports and operational updates to senior leadership.
  • Support the CFO with key strategic projects and initiatives as required.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors and vendors.
