Background: We're looking for an Experienced Research Scientist / Engineer to join Mirelo AI, an early-stage startup founded by ex-MPI/ETH/Google Brain/AWS-Lablets scientists. At Mirelo AI, we're dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art in foundational music and audio GenAI models as well as developing sound&music creation pipelines for videos and games. With the backing of incredible investors and scientific advisors&angels (see mirelo.ai), we are striving to redefine the role of sound and music in our society and economy.

Location: Berlin or Tübingen, Germany. Remote options in CET-friendly time zones TBD on case-by-case.

What We Look For:

• A PhD in Deep Learning, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Generative AI and transformers, including
• Large diffusion models
• or Large Language Models (LLM)
• or Audio/music/speech models.
• Python, PyTorch, and experience in large distributed training.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Being a musician (constantly looking for additional jamming partners in the team ;-) )
• C++, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Expertise in large data acquisition
• Experience in deploying ML models for large customer base
