Position: Senior Backend Developer (2 Openings)

Location: Finland, with onsite work 1–5 days monthly in the Capital Area

Contract Type: 6-month renewable

Start Date: ASAP

Allocation: 100%

Working Hours: 08:00–16:00, with occasional overtime

Language: Finnish-speaking candidates only

Citizenship Requirement: Finnish Citizenship required

Essential Experience:

• 8+ years of working experience
• Development and maintenance expertise (Clojure/Scala) for:
• Public media streaming services with a minimum reach of 300,000 users or 1,000,000 page views weekly
• Teams of at least 15 people

Proficiency in:

• Scala and Clojure (both minimum 400 working days in the past 3 years)
• REST application programming interfaces (minimum 400 working days in the past 3 years)
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Development using Play! Framework
• AWS in combination with Clojure and Scala
• Message queues
• Github for version control
