About the Position

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development and experience in building and maintaining scalable, distributed applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for learning and a knack for solving technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Python (Django Framework) and PostgreSQL.
• Implement integration solutions with APIs, especially OpenAI, to develop functionality based on language models.
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams working with React to ensure a smooth integration between the backend and the UI.
• Participate in projects focused on solving real-world problems, ensuring that the products created are useful and reliable.
• Research and learn about the practical application of advanced language models and other AI technologies.
• Ensure the stability, scalability and performance of the developed applications.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews and technical design in a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to a small, focused team, valuing reliability and technical excellence.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience working with Python (Django Framework) and PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to work fluently in Spanish and English, essential for team collaboration.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn about language models and artificial intelligence.
• Focus on building products that solve real problems, with tangible impact.
• Ability to thrive in small, highly focused teams, prioritizing quality and reliability.
• Desirable requirements:

Previous experience integrating artificial intelligence APIs, such as OpenAI.

• Familiarity with developing user interfaces or collaborating with frontend teams using React.
