About The Team

This CLiQ team is solving the problem where customers are confused or overwhelmed with innumerable options available for them and they rely on social media to understand the product fit. We are building a platform to solve it by becoming a one-stop solution for e-commerce that personalises each step - engagement, discovery and purchase in the user's journey while providing seamless customer experience. We are building this platform from the scratch. This also involves interesting usage of Image editing along with some cool features with AR.

Job Description

We are looking for afull-stack software engineerwith expertise in javaSpring Boot and React.js. who will be part of a team working on cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate would designand implement new systems and features. The candidate would be comfortable with the process of refactoring and consider the same as necessary part of engineering. The candidate will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements to design and develop innovative, responsive, scalable, and fault-tolerant web applications. As an individual contributor, write, test, and debug code to ensure compatibility, stability, and performance; refine and rewrite as necessary.

Collaborate closely with product managers, project managers, UX designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions. Adopt modular architecture principles for web application structure to ensure scalability and maintainability. Comply with defined engineering processes and practices to create clear and comprehensive technical specifications. Expand and enhance existing products to meet evolving business requirements. Proactively contribute ideas for new features and identify technical areas for improvement. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for seamless deployment and production support. Design, implement, and optimize database schemas for both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases. Skills and Qualifications  Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. Core Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and algorithms. Programming Skills:

Tooling and Frameworks:

• Proficiency in Java, with 5+ years of experience in Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including ES6+ features, and familiarity with TypeScript.
• good to haveReact.js and Redux with 5+ years of experience.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS/LESS.
• Hands-on experience with bundling tools like Webpack, Rollup, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR) for modern web applications.
  
  
Performance Optimization:


• Deep understanding of Web Vitals and performance metrics.
• Experience in optimizing both front-end and back-end performance.
  
  
Testing and Development Practices:


• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing libraries such as Jest and Enzyme.
• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing frameworks is a plus. DevOps and CI/CD:
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing deployment processes.
• Proficiency in managing production environments and ensuring system reliability.
  
Additional Skills:


• Knowledge of modular architecture and microservices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
