Reporting Specialist -Power BI

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Expert to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence principles. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to provide valuable insights to the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualization techniques.

- Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., Power Query, SQL).

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling principles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A passion for data and a desire to uncover insights.

- A plus will be experience in web-based database development and mastery in advanced excel.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Data Modeling and Analysis:

- Design and implement robust data models to optimize query performance and data integrity.

- Cleanse, transform, and enrich data from various sources to ensure data quality.

- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Dashboard and Report Development:

- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI's rich visualization capabilities.

- Develop custom DAX measures and calculations to derive meaningful insights.

- Ensure dashboards and reports are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.

Data Integration and ETL:

- Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems.

- Develop and maintain efficient ETL processes to automate data ingestion and transformation.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal dashboard and report performance.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data analysis, visualization, and Power BI best practices.

- Continuously explore new features and techniques to improve data insights and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:
