What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate senior iOS Developer who will join our team at the R&D Directorate.


  • Being a member of agile IOT development team,
  • Designing and developing iOS mobile application for HomeWhiz IoT Platform,
  • Participating in daily squad scrums and biweekly sprint planning rituals.
  • Participating in technical designs and reviews,
  • Working as a member of Arçelik IoT Labs on the further development of the HomeWhiz roadmap,
  • Coordinating with the Cloud/Mobile/Embedded/Design teams in solving problems, creating ideas, and improving UX,
  • Following and staying up to date with iOS and mobile technology.


The position is located in Arçelik IoT Labs in "Ankara ODTÜ Teknokent".

How do we describe the perfect fit?


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering (Master's Degree or Ph.D. is a plus),
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in iOS Development,
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of native iOS applications and native iOS SDKs,
  • Solid knowledge of OOP principles, design, and architectural patterns such as MVC and MVVM. (VIPER would be a plus)
  • Experience in implementing UI and UX designs in accordance with the most recent UX trends,
  • Understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, UIKit and SwiftUI principles,
  • General knowledge and comfort in test-driven development, agile methodologies, and Git workflow,
  • Thorough familiarity with Swift programming language (Objective-C knowledge would be a plus),
  • Strong knowledge of Xcode and iOS SDK,
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services,
  • Experience in the following: multithreaded coding, memory/performance debugging, UI development, continuous integration, build systems, code libraries/APIs, mobile dependency managers (e.g., CocoaPods, Carthage, Swift Package Manager),
  • Experience with communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, Wi-Fi, BLE, TCP/IP,
  • Having an active iOS portfolio that can be shown as a reference.
