Embedded Systems Developer (ADA)

Type of contract: Freelance

Length: Initial contract until end of 2025 + potential extensions

Work setting: 50% onsite in Brussels

The end client is an EU Institution.

Activities

• Designing, implementing, and modifying software (applications, communication protocols/stacks, etc.) using Ada/C/C++ programming language.
• Defining and executing tests.

Skills

• Software engineering (computer science, industrial engineering, telecommunications).
• Expertise on Real-Time software and complex systems.
• Expertise on C/C++ and/or Ada (Low level development).
• Expertise on software verification.
• Expertise on Linux and shell script.
• High level of English and Spanish (plus).
• Ability to work at least 50% of the time on-site (Brussels).
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge in Air Traffic Systems is a plus.
