Practical Information:

Location: Stockholm, Sweden | Work arrangement: Hybrid |Team Size: 60, 6 based in Sweden| Reports to: Engineering Manager| Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Sweden | Language Requirements: Fluent/professional English, written and verbal. Swedish would be highly regarded.

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will take accountability of the end-to-end development process of our in-house solutions, with a focus on backend and SQL. You will contribute to every phase of the product lifecycle—design, implementation, and delivery—ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Other responsibilities:

• Design and develop our internal systems, build robust and secure backend solutions while implementing frontend features as needed
• Continuously enhance the quality of our tools and infrastructure by addressing bugs and refactoring the code base to optimize performance and maintainability
• Craft clean, efficient, and scalable code that aligns with our internal standards for style and best practices in a high-scale cloud environment. Uphold these standards through thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, plan architecture, and deliver solutions that meet Crayon`s goals.

Your Competencies:

• 5+ years of hands-on programming experience with .Net/C# and SQL, while processing large data sets
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software, following good practices including Test-Driven Development, SOLID principles, and system design
• Previous public Cloud experience, especially with Azure, as well as front end development, would be a plus
