DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, business continuity is your top priority. With your extensive knowledge and experience, you ensure that all internal and external customers of Stater can use all systems.

Who are we?

Within Stater, we develop and provide mortgage services and platforms for external lenders. With our products and services, we manage 40% of the mortgages in the Netherlands. What are you going to do?

As a DevOps Engineer within team CICDOS, you will be responsible for advising, implementing, managing and optimizing our platform infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline within Stater. Within the team, you will develop and manage business-critical resources and systems used by Stater.

You are responsible for the complete management and 3rd-line support of our Windows Server environment, ICT infrastructure and our server applications. You play a critical role in business continuity. In addition to generic management tasks, as a DevOps Engineer you specialize in a certain subfield of business-critical assets that you manage.

The challenge lies in the large and complex IT environment with a diversity of server applications that you and your team (5FTE) work on. Think of 2500+ servers in an DTAP environment, automation of our operations and the maintenance and improvement of our CI/CD pipeline. In addition, we are working towards the Cloud. Think of Azure.

The work as a DevOps Engineer at Stater is challenging and varied. In addition to handling incidents and change requests, you will work together in an Agile/Scrum team on migrations, implementation requests and you will contribute to the development of roadmaps. In addition, you ensure the perfect fit between the (internal) customer demand and existing or new systems. You will be given the freedom to make improvements within Stater's complex ICT Infrastructure, so that you can be of real value.

Who are we looking for?

You can work well independently but are also a real team player who likes to achieve results together. The Microsoft Server platforms no longer hold any secrets for you and you are well versed in Powershell. You have good communication skills and are open to giving and receiving feedback. You see proactively thinking along to improve Stater's infrastructure and architecture as a challenge and you take your freedom to do so.

In addition, we ask:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Bachelor's degree in working and thinking (Computer Science/ICT);
• Experience in Enterprise Microsoft environments;
• The drive to discover new technologies;
• Analytically strong;
• Experience with Agile working;
• Experience in developing Azure DevOps build/release pipelines
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Experience with Microsoft Server platforms;
• Experience with containers on-premises (Kubernetes) is a plus;
• Experience with python is an advantage;
• Experience with C# is an advantage.

• If you choose to have this paid out, you can increase your gross annual salary to €81,252,-.
