About the Role - The Software Development Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs and translating them into technical requirements for software development projects. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring that the development team delivers solutions that meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both business processes and software development methodologies, particularly Agile.

Responsibilities

• Identify Business Needs, Document Requirements and assist prioritization of Development activities
• Serve as the main point of communication between the business users, stakeholders, and the development team while clarifying requirements and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team
• Develop user stories and detailed acceptance criteria for testing and validation
• Support development team during Sprint Planning, Day-To-Day Prioritization of tasks, Monitor Dev progress and manage risks
• Assist with software releases by providing regular updates on progress to stakeholders and document changes via Release Note generation

Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or other related area (an advantage)

• Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, including familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
• 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within software development or IT projects.
