With an exceptional mix of talent and skill sets of User Experience, Industrial Design, GUI Design, Visual Interaction, CMF and Service Design, we delve into the creation of digital experiences across Samsung Electronics’ product portfolio.

General Description

• Sound and rational approach to problem solving, design processes concept and strategies. Strong visual design portfolio. Candidate should exhibit intuitive, easy and delightful aesthetic quality with Motion, Typography, Layouts, Composition and Color. Candidate to understand users, brand strategies, usage environment, competing products, pain-points and translate the same to meaningful and tangible results. Candidates’ portfolio that reflects commercialized projects along with self-initiated or personal projects would be a plus point.
• Quick in grasping daily functional instructions and work processes, self-motivated contributor stays updated with the needs / demands and visual preferences of the target users. Quick in exploring, expressing and adapting trending visual languages, versatile with multiple design software. Sound knowledge and attitude of design thinking and problem solving and refined sense of visual aesthetics.
• Self-manage and Team worker to ensure design outputs (e.g. artworks, guidelines, motion design, and presentations.) are approved delivered within given timeline.

Necessary Skills / Attributes

• Define user’s needs & core values: Specify target user, create persona, mood boards and apply user's needs & core values to products & services.
• Conceptualization: Create and visualize core GUI and VI principles & usage concepts of required products & services based on research and market insights.
• Developing Architecture & Work-Flow: Understand the usage environment of the interface and design GUI and VI concepts and guidelines.
• Comparative analysis and Benchmarking: Find weaknesses & improvement points through comparative analysis of UX about competing products or existing products and apply it to products & services
• Collaboration & communication: Communicate effectively and collaborate with relative teams for the application of design.
• Rapid prototyping & validation: Develop a rapid prototype for validation, conduct quick usability tests, and suggest resolutions about problems detected from validation process.
• Software Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Cinema4D, Sketch, Basic Understanding of Android Design principles and Development, basic understanding of UI principles and wire framing.
