Director of Mobile Applications and Payment Devices

About the Role:

Our client, a fintech organization, is seeking a visionary Director of Mobile Applications and Payment Devices to lead a critical business unit. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of Android and iOS mobile apps, Tap-to-Pay solutions, smart payment devices, and associated SDKs and marketplace strategies. As a key driver of innovation and growth, you’ll bridge technology and marketing, contributing significantly to our organization’s revenue and future success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product vision for mobile applications and payment devices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Innovation and Delivery: Oversee development and delivery of cutting-edge fintech solutions, ensuring seamless customer experiences across payment transactions.
• Agile Leadership: Drive agile methodologies to enhance team efficiency, speed-to-market, and product quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring product-market fit and successful go-to-market strategies.
• Performance Optimization: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the success of product initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Experience:
• 7+ years in senior product management roles, preferably in fintech or a related industry.
• Proven expertise in managing mobile applications, payment devices, and large, revenue-generating product portfolios.
• Experience leading agile teams and delivering products at scale.
• Technical and Business Acumen: Strong grasp of product positioning, design thinking, and technology fundamentals.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional success.
