About Us

Due is building a new payments platform that leverages the latest advancements in blockchain tech / crypto. Today business and consumer payments are dominated by an oligopoly of card schemes working on top of a legacy banking system. We want to challenge this status quo and build a stack of payment solutions, that would allow for permissionless, self-sovereign, global and frictionless payments.

A lot of the things we are building are experimental and haven’t yet been adopted by retail customers or businesses. Our job is to build the best product based on the latest tech and bring adoption both on the consumer and merchant side of payments.

Due is a London-based company founded in Sep 2022 with fresh Seed funding from top-tier crypto and fintech investors. 

About the Role

The Finance team is more than an integral part of our business, it’s our backbone. 

As a global fintech, we are running a high growth business with operations all across the world, and your job as a Financial Business Analyst is to ensure the smooth operation of our financial activities and support the growth of our global business.

What will you be doing:

• Own monthly reconciliation of our key general ledger accounts
• Work with accountants to ensure accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
• Support the integration of new business initiatives into the finance ecosystem
• Monitor and manage global liquidity to ensure operational efficiency
• Forecast cash flow requirements and optimize fund allocation
• Work with core team members to support financial forecasts for licensing, expansion, fundraising, and other critical projects

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in payments, fintech, or related industries
• Interest in crypto payments / stablecoins / cross-border finance
• Relevant experience in finance or controlling
• Data analysis skills (advanced excel, intermediate SQL)
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to wear multiple hats
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in blockchain or crypto projects
• Accounting knowledge, particularly in IFFRS and GAAP
• Experience working with accounting software solutions (i.e. QuickBooks / Xero)
• Basic data science skills (e.g. Python)
