Job Title: Senior Java Engineer

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid)

We are working with a fast-growing European cryptocurrency platform focused on making digital assets simple, secure, and accessible. With transparency at its core, it fosters innovation and collaboration. As it expands, there’s an exciting opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to tackle challenging projects, shape a cutting-edge brokerage platform, and work closely with the Trading Technology and Data teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize brokerage software solutions using Java, with expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, and Spring WebFlux.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.
• Build and maintain scalable services within a microservices architecture.
• Design and implement solutions utilizing CQRS, DDD, and Event Sourcing principles.
• Debug and resolve software issues efficiently, ensuring system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team collaborations to drive innovation and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs (building and consuming APIs effectively).
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Passion for financial services and trading technology.
