Job Requisition: IT Functional Analyst - Senior

We are seeking an experienced IT Functional Analyst - Senior for a long-term mission in Brussels within the payroll and HR services industry.

Mission Context

Join the Core Calculation Team, the central hub for payroll processes, where calculations to generate employee payslips are performed. Your role involves functional and technical analysis, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and document functional/technical solutions.
• Assess technical feasibility, propose improvements, and align with architects.
• Understand existing Cobol code (batch, transactional, online) and mainframe systems (DB2, IMS).
• Prepare and execute functional and end-to-end testing.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, managing risks and ensuring delivery quality.

Requirements

Languages: Dutch, French, English (strong written and verbal skills).

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Mandatory:
• Mainframe expertise (Cobol, DB2, IMS).
• Tools: TWS, Expeditor, ISPW, MQ/ZOS-connect.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred:
• Agile methodology, payroll processes, wage calculations.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical, problem-solver, quality-focused, autonomous, and adaptable.
