Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze operational, financial, and market data related to energy projects.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as energy production, consumption, costs, and revenue.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on financial and operational performance.
• Design and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into key metrics and trends.
• Present findings to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
• Monitor the performance of energy assets (e.g., power plants, renewable energy projects) against operational and financial targets.
• Track deviations from forecasts or budgets and highlight areas of concern or opportunity.
• Support risk management by identifying trends that could impact project outcomes (e.g., market prices, regulatory changes, equipment performance).
• Work closely with finance, operations, commercial, and engineering teams to align reporting outputs with business needs.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies) to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in data analytics, financial reporting, or energy management (e.g., CFA, CIMA, or Certified Energy Manager) are a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in a reporting, data analysis, or financial analysis role, ideally within the energy sector (renewable energy, oil & gas, utilities, power generation).
• Experience working with large datasets and financial/operational reporting systems.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
