Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building secure and user-friendly mobile applications. The role requires a strong foundation in Android development, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Design, build, and integrate features while ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize Android Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, LiveData, ViewModel, Room).
• Implement design patterns like MVVM and MVP for scalable application architecture.
• Ensure the security and compliance of banking and financial applications with industry standards.
• Debug and resolve issues to improve application performance and usability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Android development with Kotlin and Java.
• Expertise in using the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and working with third-party libraries.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components.
• Proficiency in MVVM, MVP, and other architectural patterns.
• Hands-on experience in UI/UX design principles and creating adaptive layouts for multiple screen sizes.
• Understanding of data persistence techniques (e.g., Room, SQLite).
• Exposure to version control systems like Git.
• Previous experience in banking or fintech domain is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android.
• Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications.
• Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
