We’re hiring a Java Developer for one of the Fortune 500 company projects. This hybrid role offers remote work flexibility with occasional in-person collaboration. If you have experience building scalable, reliable systems and excel in fast-paced environments, we’d love to have you on board.

Location: Toronto (Hybrid)

Job Type: T4 Contact

Working hours: 40 a week

Responsibilities Insights

  • Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications.
  • Supports and/or installs software applications and operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and software certification.
  • It requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is necessary.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision and typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude are required.

Required Stacks

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Java development.
  • Significant Spring Boot framework expertise.
  • Experience in creating and implementing RESTful APIs utilizing Java's Microservices framework.
  • Experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Experience with relational databases (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
