About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in Snowflake to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Oslo, offering a mix of remote and onsite work. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures that support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data architectures with a primary focus on Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Lead the migration and integration of legacy systems to Snowflake.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Conduct performance tuning and monitoring of data pipelines and warehouse solutions.
• Support stakeholders by providing insights, technical expertise, and strategic recommendations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong portfolio of designing and implementing data solutions.
• Expertise in Snowflake, including hands-on experience in design, optimization, and administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, and physical models).
• Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Snowflake or relevant cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of additional data warehousing solutions or technologies.
• Experience working in a hybrid work environment.
