Mobile Engineer

As a Mobile Engineer, you are a key contributor to our mobile app portfolio. You take your part in the architecture, design, development and release management of our mobile application. As part of our larger 20+ Engineering team (DevOps, API, Web), you work on our mobile application as well as our branded customer implementations. You report to the Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities

You are a constructive participant of our day-to-day processes: standups, sprint plannings, PR reviews, designs and estimations

You are an active contributor to our mobile codebase and product portfolio:

• design and development of our application and customer branded versions
• improve and expand our test suite
• maintain technical documentation

You keep an eye out for technical advancements in the app ecosystem, especially concerning:

• cross-platform frameworks
• mobile geo-spatial frameworks
• real-time communication frameworks

Profile

Technical Skills

• Experience in mobile development using .NET MAUI
• Experience in shipping mobile apps involving backend REST API communications
• Experience with delivering mobile apps to app stores.
• A keen eye for detail and precision when completing your work: clean pull requests, constructive code reviews
• Nice to have, experience in developing geo-spatial or map applications, e.g. using Mapbox SDK
