Contract Manager

A multi-international consultancy company are seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join a landmark rail infrastructure project in East Africa. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a transformative development in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.

The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all contractual aspects of the project, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to local and international contractual standards, including FIDIC and other frameworks.
• Negotiate and resolve disputes, maintaining a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on contractual matters.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Contract Management, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in contract management within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects.
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC or other standard contract forms.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Good command of English language
