Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer to join us at Boku in Estonia, Tartu. You would be working for the Trident Bundling team, which helps merchants and partners scale globally by creating cost-effective, value-driven product and service bundles.

You will be responsible for all the stages of the software development life cycle (from technical preparations to testing your code and monitoring the outcome if needed). Your main goal is to bring the ideas of stakeholders into life - deliver products and features to our clients, that have a direct impact on their revenue and market positioning. You will have good opportunities to exchange knowledge and drive initiatives together with engineers from the whole organization.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• Above all, we are looking for someone, who is eager to learn and grow under the hands of our very experienced team. We believe that with the right attitude, anything can be achieved.
• Have at least a couple of years of working experience as a Java Software Engineer with good coding practices and techniques, while not being afraid of leaving the massive frameworks aside now and then to write lean and dependence-free code by yourself.
• Familiarity in testing, continuous integration, and deployment practices.
• Owner of all aspects of our software architecture, quality, and user experience, as you will write and review a lot of code and maintain services in production using a modern toolset.
• Open-minded, hands-on, passionate, creative – a doer who loves turning ideas into reality.
• We value in-person collaboration at our Tartu office and believe it enhances teamwork and results. While this is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work remotely, occasional on-site presence in Tartu is essential.
• Ideally, you should live in Tartu or close by, as face-to-face teamwork strengthens our relationships and helps us achieve better results together.
