Senior Product Manager – Payout Products

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our payout products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in payments, particularly in payout processes, and demonstrate a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive experience in merchant collaboration, including understanding merchant needs, designing customized solutions, and managing long-term partnerships. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business development teams to drive product success and enhance customer and merchant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Develop and execute the product roadmap for payout solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and innovation opportunities.

• Payout Product Development
• Lead the end-to-end development of payout products, including multi-currency and cross-border payments, bank transfers, and wallet integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure seamless user experiences and robust technical implementations.

• Merchant Management & Collaboration
• Work closely with the merchant team to understand merchant needs and provide tailored solutions for various use cases, such as e-commerce platforms and digital content providers.
• Develop merchant collaboration strategies to onboard and optimize their payout processes.
• Regularly engage with merchants to collect feedback, improve product offerings, and enhance their satisfaction and transaction success rates.

• Stakeholder Management
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, merchants, and regulators, to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with business development to identify and integrate new payout partners and channels.

• Performance Monitoring & Optimization
• Monitor key product metrics (e.g., success rates, transaction times, error rates) to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement data-driven strategies to optimize payout processes and reduce operational costs.

• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure payout products comply with local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to mitigate fraud and security risks in payout transactions.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Provide guidance to junior product managers or cross-functional team members, sharing best practices in product management and payout solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience
• 5-6 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on payments, fintech, or payout products.
• Proven experience in merchant collaboration, including analyzing merchant requirements, designing solutions, and managing partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in launching and managing multi-currency and cross-border payout solutions.

• Skills
• Deep understanding of payout mechanisms, including bank transfers, e-wallets, and payment gateways.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in creating PRDs, wireframes, and product roadmaps.

• Technical Knowledge
• Familiarity with APIs, payment processing systems, and fintech platforms.
• Knowledge of global compliance and regulatory requirements for payments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global or regional payout product role.
• Familiarity with fraud prevention, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.
