Network Engineer

Network Engineer - Portsmouth - 2 days a week - £55,000

We're seeking an Network Engineer to deploy cutting-edge network solutions and troubleshoot complex connectivity challenges in the Aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to plan, test, and deploy advanced network solutions.
• Install temporary, high-bandwidth networks in remote locations for demo days and development arenas.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues with RF, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, satellite systems, and more.
• Develop tools to diagnose and resolve network problems.
• Document solutions and collaborate across engineering, sales, and customer success teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Ubiquiti AirFiber, Starlink, and 4G networks.
• Knowledge of aerospace or drone technology is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
• 4+ years in a client-facing engineering role with expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, QoS) and cloud services (AWS, Azure
